Accokeek Swim Team
The Accokeek Swim Team is a not-for-profit competitive swim team in the Prince-Mont Swim League for ages 4-18 years. The goal of AST is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at their age-level, from novice to seasoned competitor. The focus for team members is on developing and mastering correct stroke technique, learning teamwork, good sportsmanship, self-discipline and having fun. AST is led by volunteer members and parents, and all are welcome and encouraged to be involved in team activities. Find more information and the registration form here.
The pool opens for Recreational Swim at 1:00 pm following AST home meets.
The AST 2024 meet scheudule can be found HERE. AST is in DIV C.

• A sponsoring member must register their guests upon checking in, and the sponsoring member must accompany their guests at all times.
• Loitering in the lobby area is not allowed. Lifeguards stationed at the lobby desk and on deck require a clear line of sight of one another.

Unless swimming with an instructor, all swimmers under the age of 12 must pass a swimming test before entering water deeper than 3 feet and using the diving well area.
If at any point a lifeguard notices signs of fatigue in a novice swimmer or an increase in deep-end activity overall, then lifeguards reserve the right to ask novice swimmers to take a 30-minute break (or longer, depending on the number of swimmers in the pool) from the pool.
Use of USCG-approved PFD is highly recommended.
