Homes in the Moyaone Reserve are all situated on minimum five-acre wooded lots, which not only enhance privacy, but provide stunning backdrops for its architecture. Among the 200 homes in the community, you’ll find a variety of architectural styles including Victorian, Craftsman, Colonial revival and contemporary. However, the prevailing style (more than 60%) throughout the community is mid-century modern in period and style. No where else in Charles and Prince Georges counties was modernism thriving than here in the Moyaone Reserve between 1945 and 1976. Thanks to local real estate agents such as Sheryl Romeo and Michael Shapiro, the Moyaone Reserve is becoming increasingly known for its modern architecture.
Biennially, the Moyaone Reserve hosts its house and garden tour for the community and members of the public. Information will appear here when the next tour is announced.
